Contraduo is a Pittsburgh-based chamber ensemble, comprised of double bassists Emily Tarantino and Riley Zimmermann. Though rooted in classical music, they play a wide array of styles, including baroque, jazz and popular music. For their Heinz Memorial Chapel debut, Contraduo will be playing a variety of traditional and contemporary bass repertoire, as well as their own arrangements and compositions.
Open to the public. Admission is free.
