Dedicated to promoting peace through music and sound, violinist Monique Mead joins 30 sound practitioners and musicians to envelop you in an immersive soundscape unlike any other.
You’re welcome to stretch out on a pew, gaze up at the stained-glass windows, and absorb the healing sounds of more than 80 singing bowls resonating from all sides of the chapel.
The program flows through deeply relaxing soundscapes, evocative melodies, and the world premiere of Nancy Galbraith’s Sound Bath 8—the first work composed for singing bowls, violin, harp, and synthesizer.
Free for Pitt students, $15 for Pitt faculty & staff, $25 for general admission. Reserve your spot here.
