
Grace Farney is a flutist, performer, and educator based in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. During her sound baths, Grace offers a unique sound healing experience incorporating both singing bowls and flute into her practice. Participants will experience the healing nature of sound baths through immersive sound vibrations that are intended to promote relaxation, reduce stress, and encourage a sense of calm and mindfulness.
A Kansas native, Grace earned her Bachelor of Music in Flute Performance from the University of Kansas and she is currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Flute Performance at Carnegie Mellon University under the instruction of Alberto Almarza. Grace completed her training to become a sound practitioner in the Fall of 2025, and has been teaching sound baths at CMU since January 2026. Grace performed in the Mega Sound Bath at Heinz Chapel in November 2025 and April 2026, playing both flute and singing bowls.
