Eric Cyphers performs J. S. Bach’s Six Suites for Unaccompanied Cello in this two-part concert series. These works serve as the Everest of his instrument’s repertoire and offer a near complete guide to everything the cello can do. This concert marks a final Pittsburgh appearance for Cyphers who has worked with classical music superstars Yo-Yo Ma, Metropolitan Opera music director Yannick Nezet-Seguin, and Marin Alsop.
