CANCELLED - The Unknown Lincoln

April 30, 2020

7:00pm

Attorney and historian Jonathan F. Putnam will talk about the little known life and times of the young Abraham Lincoln and his defining relationship with a well-born Southerner named Joshua Speed.  Putnam's Lincoln & Speed Mystery series involves murder mysteries based on Lincoln's actual law practice.  Book Reporter calls the Lincoln & Speed books"one of the best historical fiction series on the market," while Suspense Magazine says "the great man comes alive" in this"truly cool series." Books will be available for sale courtesy of the Oakmont Mystery Lovers Bookshop.  Following the book talk there will be a Q&A led by University of Pittsburgh History Professor Lara Putnam.

Open to the public.  Admission is free.
