Frequently Asked Questions:

How much time will we have?
2 hours total. You will have access to the Heinz Chapel garden and S. Bellefield Avenue parking 20 minutes before your ceremony time to gather with your guests. Inside the Chapel you’ll have a 20-minute ceremony and a 30-minute portrait session followed by 50 minutes under the tent on the lawn for a toast and cookie table.

What is the cost?
$3800 which includes everything in the Simply Styled Includes list above.

Can we choose our own officiant, photographer, florist and/or musicians? No, the beauty of our Simply Styled ceremony package is that by sharing vendors our wedding couples can get a great deal and avoid the stress of planning. We are thrilled with the vendors that we have lined up and think you will be too! Once you’ve reserved your ceremony time you’ll have an opportunity to select from options for your flowers, music and cookies.

Can we customize the ceremony? Yes, you will be able to choose a Christian or civil ceremony and will have two options for the vows. Couples are welcome to present a dedication to each other that will be incorporated into the ceremony.

What is included in the toast under the tent?
A complimentary glass of bubbly for each guest, infused water, plus your choice of a traditional Pittsburgh cookie table or a charcuterie board from The Cheese Queen. The cookie table includes 25 dozen cookies (couples can choose the cookie types from a list provided) with to-go boxes. The charcuterie board from The Cheese Queen feeds 50+ and comes with artisan cheeses and meats, fresh fruit, nuts and seasonal accompaniments with to-go boxes for any extras.

What happens if we have fewer than 50 guests?
You’re welcome to take the extra food home (alcohol may not leave the premises).

Will there be a rehearsal opportunity?
It is optional. Couples can schedule a rehearsal the week before their Simply Styled ceremony.

What happens in the event of rain?
Instead of the Heinz Chapel garden, your guests can gather inside of the Chapel on the lower level. The toast will remain outside under the tent.

So… what happens after?
Choose your own adventure! If you’d like suggestions on area restaurants or reception venues we can provide that. If you want to use the money you saved to host an epic backyard barbecue, go for it! If you just want to head home with your beloved to start your married life, enjoy.

What is a Simply Styled Ceremony?
